Time for Tots: Bring your child in for 4 hour-long sessions of interactive preschool time. There will be singing, dancing, school readiness, and a simple craft. Then, from 2:00-4:00, you can visit various “stations” to revel in Star Wars.

Teddy Bear Sleepover: We’re inviting your best stuffed friend — Teddy Bear or otherwise — to spend the weekend at the library. First, drop in for a special storytime at 4:00 on Friday, October 17, or 3:00 on Saturday, October 18. Then your stuffed friend will enjoy fun and games at the library all weekend. You’ll be able to pick up your toy on Monday, October 20.

IndianCornChanging Nature of War & Peace: We’ll be partnering with Adelphi University as its students read “Thank You for Your Service” and discuss the “Changing Nature of War and Peace.” We’ll have book discussions and other programs for adults, teens and kids as we visit these important topics.
