We’ve made some changes to the picture book section to make browsing for books easier. Now all the books in the section are classified by subject. Below is a primer on the categories you’ll find. You’ll also notice that each book has a corresponding label and all the categories are color-coded. As always, if you need help finding a book, don’t hesitate to ask a librarian. Happy browsing!

Folk & Fairy Tales: Picture book adaptations of well-known tales. |

Nature: Books about animals, the seasons, and other facets of nature. |

Rhymes & Songs: Adaptations of children’s songs, Mother Goose, and other nursery rhymes, plus books with a definite rhyme scheme or rhythm. |

School Days: Books all about those dear old golden rule days. |

Stories: Books suitable for storytimes or to share with your child at any time. |
